IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Administration and Tuning (ILO)
This is a live, instructor-led online course. Do not make arrangements to travel.
This 4 day Sterling B2B Integration Suite Administration and Tuning course guides you through managing
user accounts, designing dashboard themes for the user accounts, and tuning business processes and the
Integration Suite server to meet your system performance requirements. You will also learn about sizing
performance problems and the tools to monitor and diagnose these problems.
Audience
This intermediate course is for System Administrator.
Pre-requisites
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Objective
Identify and solve basic performance related problems.
Identify potential performance problems areas in the Sterling B2B Integrator architecture.
Describe the purpose of the Dashboard panes and portals and configure the Dashboard.
Manage Sterling B2B Integrator permissions, user accounts, and groups.
Configure business process check in options, use best practices for business process design, and apply
modeling strategies, and analyze detailed reports to increase processing efficiency.
Identify, test, and analyze performance, memory, and cache-related problems.
Use the Performance Tuning Utility to test a system and to adjust performance parameters to increase
performance.
Manually modify properties to increase performance.
Create a Performance Statistics Report and analyze a business process and system process activity data to
modify the business process and system.
Use monitoring and diagnostic tools to monitor system status and identify errors on a server.
Use the Sterling B2B Integrator based monitoring and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and analyze problems.
Use services to maintain clean up the Sterling B2B Integrator system.
Describe the scripts and files in the bin directory.
